As it is a guideline requirement,it can be overruled.
4.5.5 Exterior Decks
Additional Requirement for decks on walk-out lots and ridge lots.
- The underside of deck must be fully finished with aluminum, wood, or a composite soffit.
The same requirement was approved for the Cantiro Showhome backing on the ridge Lot.
Architectural Approvals Status Set to: Revision Request
Hi, the rear decks for this duplex are wood deck, which doesn't come with soffit underneath. The condition for the soffit under the deck needs to be removed. if soffit is required we will need to upgrade the deck to vinyl deck and this will increase the the cost for these houses. Can you please confirm and/or remove the soffit requirement. Thanks
